Mr. Pierson is cofounder and principal of our Advisor. Mr. Pierson has been active in capital advisory services including mortgage banking, mortgage brokerage and direct mortgage lending in Phoenix and across the country since his move to Phoenix in 1990. His experience includes business development, extensive negotiating and underwriting of multifamily, office, retail and industrial loans. During his career, Mr. Pierson has been a direct Fannie Mae DUS lender, a Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer in addition to representing numerous national life insurance companies, HUD lenders and structured financing.  Since forming his partnership with Mr. Merrell in 2005, they have originated over $2.2 billion in commercial real estate loans in over 225 transactions.  In June 2016, he joined Walker & Dunlop, Inc. as a Senior Vice President in its Capital Markets Division and his responsibilities included finding debt and equity commercial real estate opportunities for the company.  Mr. Pierson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.
